Worship Services
We have two services to choose from here at Ashland Place:
- 9:00 am Ascension Service (Fellowship Hall)
- 11:00 am Traditional Service (Sanctuary)
The Ascension Service offers a unique blend of contemporary worship and ancient traditions, held in the casual atmosphere of our Fellowship Hall. Each week, we gather at 9 am to receive Holy Communion, hear God’s word, and celebrate the roots of our faith. Our praise band leads us in praise and worship with high-energy music that is both fun and inspirational.
Our Traditional Service worships each Sunday in our beautiful sanctuary at 11 am. In addition to hearing Scripture read and a sermon by one of our pastors, we also have music from our choir and congregational hymns. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
We also live-stream our services on Sunday to our Facebook and YouTube channels. You may access our Ascension Service live at 9am or Traditional Service at 11am.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! You'll see people dressed in casual clothes and suits worshiping side-by-side at APUMC. We're more interested in meeting you than what you choose to wear.
For Families:
Nursery Ministries for Infants & Toddlers
Our nursery is staffed with loving and caring nursery workers. The nursery is available for infants and toddlers through age 2 years during worship services, Sunday School, on Wednesday nights, and for special meetings or programs that require care for infants and young children. Our nursery staff is eager to make your child's experience at Ashland Place UMC a secure and happy one.
Children's Ministry on Sunday Mornings
Children's Chapel is offered each Sunday @ 9am in The Landing.
Children's Sunday School is available for children ages K3 -2nd Grade & 3rd – 5th Grade.
