At Ashland Place UMC we believe children are a vital part of our faith community. Our Children's Ministries are designed to nurture their spiritual growth, foster meaningful friendships, and provide a safe and loving environment to explore God’s Word. Whether it’s through Sunday school, special events, or service opportunities, we strive to plant seeds of faith that will last a lifetime.
Our Programs
Sunday School
Join us every Sunday morning at 10am in The Landing, for age-appropriate lessons, engaging activities, and creative storytelling that bring Bible stories to life. Classes are available for children ages K5-2nd Grade & 3rd – 5th Grade.
Children’s Chapel
Our Children’s Chapel service is a tailored worship experience just for kids! Through music, prayer, and fun teachings, children learn to connect with God in meaningful ways. Children process in the cross, light the Christ candle, say the Lord’s Prayer, sing hymns, and hear a lesson based on the scripture of the day. Meets each Sunday @ 9am in The Landing.
Wacky Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from 6pm – 7pm, kids gather for games, & singing. This is a great way for children to deepen their faith and build community during the week.

Safety and Security
Your child’s well-being is our top priority. All volunteers are carefully screened and trained, and our facilities are designed with children’s safety in mind. We follow the UMC’s Safe Sanctuaries Policy.
